Some of the dialogue is sensationalized but in the end, it's two of the best to ever do it going on a rock-climbing adventure. Very satisfying to watch and can't help but have tremendous respect for the physical and mental achievements of these people. I'd never give that much of a shit about climbing rocks, but I'm glad they do so I can watch.

Man, this was a crazy movie. You go long stretches of laughing (some intentional comedy, some unintentional), then long stretches of confusion, then there's boredom and eye rolling as it way overstays it's welcome and then once you think you've got it figured out and it's simple over-indulgent woke crap.... there's a great, but very short, scene with Jesse Plemons right near the very end that almost salvages it.

I honestly don't know what to make of this one.

Critics who hate it aren't wrong... it's a difficult movie to enjoy for very long stretches. At the same time, I kind of understand the defenders of it who are saying that those who hate it don't understand what it was actuality trying to say underneath the surface.

I wouldn't recommend anyone spend $15 or whatever it costs to see a movie in the theaters these days on it. I used my wifes "see a movie a day pass" that she pays for and wasn't using today.

I honestly don't even think I'd recommend you stream it before getting an idea of what you're about to walk into.

It's a complete mess... but by the time the credits rolled I was glad i stuck thru it rather than get up and leave (which i was tempted to do midway thru)

Overall: 7/10?

It's a 10/10 for ambition, but 5/10 for execution at times. It's REALLY meta and convoluted, but there are some interesting points being made towards the end (not just "woke" climate shit or billionaires are bad) if you stick around for them.

Bring her Back: 7/10. Very disturbing and quite sad.

Following their father's sudden death, 17-year-old Andy and his visually impaired younger sister, Piper, are placed in a secluded foster home with a woman named Laura. They soon uncover that Laura is an unfit foster mother with a dark secret

Animals: 6/10. Tried to be 2 different movies. Drama then action. Not bad though.

Mark Kimball (played by Ben Affleck), a wealthy lawyer and Gulf War veteran running for mayor of Los Angeles, faces a horrific crisis involving his family.
