Such an interesting situation, lots of questions that UFC 171 will answer. It's Condit's shot to lose. Otherwise it's Rory's, unless Robbie wins. Then Rory doesn't deserve that quick of a rematch. So many weird situations, if Condit loses and Robbie wins, is it the winner of Lombard vs Shields?

I think the next contender depends, in large part, on who wins the belt. If Johny, then Rory is the likely contender. If Lawler, my guess would be Condit (if he wins).

I don't think Rory has looked too impressive in his last 3 fights. H lost to Lawler, he beat Maia but if Maia didn't gas I don't think he would've looked so great. I think who ever looks most impressive in their win at UFC 171 would get the shot. I think any of the 4 with an impressive win will be more deserving.

That's a silly way to look at it, Maia DID gas and Rory DID look good, so if's don't really matter.

I dont think Rory looked that good, he got dominated on the ground until Maia gassed and sure he then controlled Maia with his standup but it wasnt that effective and or exciting.
Rory has not looked good since the BJ fight and he is definitely not deserving of a title shot.

I don't think he got dominated, I thought Rory did great, stayed calm played it smart and got out of a TERRIBLE position
