Koscheck was hit by illegal knee (new gif)

It would help to have a little better angle but it indeed looks like Kos was it full in the face with the right knee and that explains why he grabbed the right side of his face. I think people were too hard on Kos based on Rogan not being able to see what he got hit with.

No people were hard on Kos because of the obviously missed huge left knee. That right knee, if it happened, was hard to pick up from any angle I've seen so I doubt most saw it.

Exactly. Everyone thought he was trying to sell the second knee (which obviously missed). This also explains the blood on his head. I was there 20 feet from the cage and NO ONE saw it.

Right but who brought the attention to the missed knee and assumed that there was no other knee that Kos could have gotten hit with? Rogan.
How much would that suck though? To know that you got hit by something while you were on your knees but then have it look like you were faking it? I feel like we should have the mods go to the MMA Comedy thread and delete the picture of Koscheck accepting an Oscar.

Poor guy. Gets accused by everyone (myself included) of faking two different illegal strikes (eye poke vs rumble). Once the hype dies down and everyone moves on, a new angle comes out actually proving that he was hit. >90% of casual MMA followers who have seen koscheck's last 2 fights will assume he faked it both times when in reality both were legit. It's a good thing he has such a fratboy D-bag attitude, he was born to play the heel and if he was a humble, decent guy he would be unfairly judged.

It's hard to see because the ref is blocking the view a bit, but watch Daley's lower back and you'll see it.

Gotta disagree man, it's clear he was hit with a right knee. You can see his head jerk back from it and then he was bleeding afterward. I think Daley looks even worse now because he purposely threw TWO illegal knees.
