WAR

That's fair.

As butthurt as I am about him lying about putting America first and not getting bogged down with more wars of choice in the Middle East... I am still rooting for him to succeed.

I have never understood Americans who actively root for our elected officials to fail miserably. Even when Biden was fucking everything up 6 ways from Sunday I had hope that he'd make good decisions and reverse course on some of his disastrous policies.
Can't let them have a nuke Bro, he had no choice. I'm Canadian and I love me some USA!!! I agree with all you said except war of choice... thats a Dem talking point and not true. Damn it, I already broke my word lol

I'm not gonna try to push you, I respect when someone has a salient/clear stance like, "i trust Trump 100%".

Nothing wrong with that, i have buddies who are the same way. Long as you own it, that's good by me.

I'd say the same thing if you're stance was, "I don't care what you say.. I 100% hate Trump"

If that's your locked in position i can get behind that and we can talk about other stuff and I'm sure we'll find shit we agree about and enjoy discussing.

@Taiter this is Bucky. He could write a 5,000 word essay debating a stop sign. And we love him for it.

@osubuckeye4 this is Taiter. He was our Canadian Fabio at the old (technically now old-old since we migrated again) place. He is a man of culture, elegance, couth, direct words, and unabashed sex appeal.

Don't get me started on stop signs... or unnecessary red lights.

Did I ever post the story about the "Jimmy Lee light"? It was probably a long time ago, but that was a good rant.

while clearly unharmed, not showing any bruse.
While people laughing while coming down the stairs.
damn..those poor people

Meanwhile... in Afghanistan:

I wonder how Afghanistan is able to hold their own against a nuclear power? Must have some pretty cool military equipment that was conveniently left sitting around for them or something.

Nuclear power is not relevant to their conflict. It doesn't enter the equation. The people of Afghanistan have resisted nuclear powers before, including the Soviets and us. They were also able to stop a world power before the invention nuclear weapons and with no foreign supply. I'm not downplaying the utter disaster that was Biden's exit from Afghanistan (probably my biggest single beef with his presidency), but my point is that the tribes in Afghanistan have been successfully resisting world powers for millennia.

Maybe it will....

Headed towards a bad agreement. Fuck

Either he's stalling thru the holidays (UAE and Saudis had asked for no attacks for the next week or so, millions of people celebrating a holiday over there).... or, he's folding faster than Superman on laundry day.

(And yes, I was kidding about Pakistan going nuclear)

Right now Trump's biggest ally is the center, ironically the base whose representatives he demonized during his first election run and presidency. Neo-Cons and Neo-Libs that don't subscribe to clickbait hysteria. Their biggest beef, my observation, is that Trump went into the war halfcocked without a concrete plan and is now playing cowboy. However, we are now committed. Folding here would lose a lot of that support and make things even worse.

He has to be stalling or he is a fool, and it may be for months. UAE and Saudis need to mobilize if they are serious about resolving this threat. That will take some time.
