"We have mutually agreed that, while the Blockade will remain in full force and effect, Project Freedom (The Movement of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz) will be paused for a short period of time to see whether or not the Agreement can be finalized and signed."

Since my work loves discussing politics in meetings (God I hate it here), of course the u er libs started moaning about the Iran war.
They were moaning about the Saudis not wanting to let us use their bases for the ship escort missions, and how clearly we've driven our own allies in the region towards Iran.
I could take it at that point and spoke up and said "Um, y'all realize that Iran and Saudi Arabia absolutely fucking hate each other right? Saudi isn't siding with Iran, they're pissed they weren't consulted prior and that Trump is potentially giving Iran an off ramp before they're decimated. Hell, if anything we've been having to hold their leash to prevent them from jumping in the fight."
They legit had NO IDEA about the Sunni/Shi'ite divide between the two countries and were flabbergasted that was a thing.
These people never cease to amaze me with how ignorant they are on the shit they speak about.
