Soccer/Futbol/Football

I'm just happy that Canada is out. Now I don't have to watch this sport. The fuckers spend more time trying to draw a foul, than they do trying to score.

1 - 0 , but 5 yellows and 2 reds gg

Does that mean it’s back to Ice Hockey, Lacrosse and Figure Skating again then?

Did I just read that Right!?! They revoked a Red Card, because Trump made a phone call lol

FIFA is a mess.

I don't know why they would undermine their VAR team by reversing the decision, regardless of Trump calling up the FIFA Prez and groveling.

Whatever though, it's good for the USA.

No one deserved to win that really. Both teams were poor but Spain get the job done late, although Portugal almost snatched extra time at the very end.

End of an era for Ronaldo at 41. I remember his debut in 2003 for Manchester United at 17. Unbelievable talent that just got better and better. Eventually hitting his prime at Real Madrid. Although the Portugal manager will regret not having the balls to substitute him at times when he’s doing nothing in certain games, still an Incredible career. Him and Messi were the best of their era, one of the best to ever do it too. Certified billionaire and he’s still not done at club level yet.

nothing like being in Europe for a big soccer match. the atmosphere is infectiously wild. Soccer not a huge sport here so it's always fun to be over there and witness it.

No doubt. The atmosphere here in most stadiums can be wild and loud. Especially derby days with rivalries. International games too. Other teams in Europe as well. I think stadiums in the US have done very well thanks to world wide supporters.

FIFA should have eliminated the red card the next day. It was a bogus call that was only discovered in so mo , which is actually against the rules.

Hopefully going into the next World Cup, they will create actual change like stating that if no call was made on the field in real time, the most that an be awarded upon replay is a yellow, i.e. go up one level.

Are you a real soccer/football/futball team of importance if you cannot use your capital to swing some dick?

Just a PSA, that no matter the result of tonight's game, the most well known tourist attraction in the Belgian Republic is a small water fountain statue of a pissing baby.

OK...why THE FUCK does Fox coverage not zoom in on the action. If I wanted to watch from the cheap seats, I would have paid $2K for some bullshit upper deck in Seattle. Show me what is happening, please.
