I parlayed Bills ML with Allen TD

Also took Vaki 10+ rush yards (Gibbs has to rest at some point?)

How will Mr. Vegas strike this week?

Apparently Gibbs never rests... even down 17 with under 2 to go?

Vaki 1 carry for 7 yards. So close but so far away.

Bigger wager was the parlay, I'll take it.. but disappointing that I misread the RB usage come off a short week where Gibbs had a million carries in an OT game.

My sister missed a parlay that would have paid out $680 by 2 Josh Allen passing yard. He had 248, needed 250

Imagine all those that's happened to them or lost in fantasy due to lost kneeling yards

It happens all the time with QB rushing yards props.

A few years ago I had Mahomes I believe over 29.5 rush yards and he was at 40 or so in the final 2 minutes of a 'victory formation' win... no problem.. 3 knees is -3 yards, still a comfortable win.

Wait though! Instead of taking normal knees to end the game, he bizarrely shuffled backwards 3-5 yards each time before taking the knee (I suppose it was running additional seconds off the clock, but it was completely unnecessary due to the defense having long given up)... he ended up losing 12-15 yards in total and finished with 25-28 rush yards. I honestly don't remember the specific total, but it was enough to cost me the wager.

I couldn't even be mad about it, it was so ridiculous.

EDIT: And to be clear, it wasn't a "IT'S RIGGGGGGGGGED!" thing. There was a legitimate explanation for it... he had to burn a few more seconds than 'normal' knees would have generated... the way he did it looked so bizarre though because the defense wasn't even attempting to put a rush on him. 🤡

(this is why you don't ever bet more than you're comfortable losing... and why it should be viewed as entertainment)

LOL of course there's a video about it (I guess it's happened multiple times)

At least the defense was making an attempt in that one. I remember watching mine and I was like, "THEY AREN'T EVEN TRYING! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!?!??!!?" :ROFLMAO:

Steve Belichick resigns as North Carolina's defensive coordinator

Steve Belichick is out as North Carolina's defensive coordinator as the school announced it has concluded its investigation into the program's "culture and climate."

Belichick's resignation will be official as of Oct. 27, which marks the end of a medical leave that he has been on since Aug. 6. His exit follows that of general manager Mike Lombardi, who resigned on Sept. 3 following an investigation over allegations related to a human resources dispute involving a former school front-office employee.

"The University has concluded a thorough and independent investigation into the allegations related to culture and climate within the Carolina football program," the school wrote in a statement.

"The investigation determined that certain actions demonstrated a disregard for Carolina's values and standards of conduct. The investigation also found that these actions were isolated in scope and not a systemic failure.

"As the University previously announced, General Manager Michael Lombardi resigned from the program effective September 3. Steve Belichick has resigned from his position of defensive cordinator, effective October 27, 2026, following the conclusion of his current medical leave.

"Throughout the investigation, the University has been guided by the legal advice of outside counsel. All necessary corrective actions are now underway and will be overseen by Carolina Athletics and the Office of University Counsel. With these actions, the University considers the investigation to be resolved.

"Consistent with University policy regarding personnel matters, there will be no further comment on individuals. As always, should credible new information arise, the University will evaluate it and take appropriate action consistent with its policies and responsibilities."

As part of the investigation, witnesses were reportedly questioned about whether Belichick "used drugs on the job or provided drugs to at least one player."

...and here we go again.

Da bears went from 59 to 3 points at home vs the Vikings

Yup, Chicago isn't allowed to have nice things.

We'll always have week 1 though! Can't wait to unveil the week 1 scoring champs banner before the start of game 1 next year.
