if you want the most historically accurate answer: Judah was one of the original Israelite tribes and unlike the "Ten Lost Tribes" survived and its population carried forward the Israelite heritage and became the foundation of the modern Jewish nation.

No, I was curious to hear from someone who actually lives there. People in the U.S.A. have many different opinions. I look at this from a purely political perspective--and I support the nation of Israel from that viewpoint.
