was so ready to hate this game, after all the hype.
Played the first hour and was still convinced it is dogshit.
Then the "game started" and the dialogues and soundtrack were insane.
Still have my gripes with some things, but all in all, this was a really really nice game.

Ya, I was skeptical going in, and that first hour was kinda tough. Didn't take me long to start enjoying it, and it just kept getting better and better. Amazing what they pulled off with such a small budget.
 
I'm trying to play the Assassins Creed Shadows, I was super stoked with the Samurai theme, but I just can't get into it.

Anyone else play it? I feel like it's dragging on.

I stopped after Odyssey. Felt like a total drag as well. First AC where I was like, "Thank God it's over." Valhalla looked like more of the same. Mirage kinda went back old school, but it was too late for me to care. Shadows gameplay looked awkward to me.

Having said all that, I'm definitely playing the remake of Black Flag. That was prime AC.

Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Yotel did a much better job IMO. Pretty sure you can get GoT for cheap on ps5 or steam.

I picked it up from the library last week and I just finished up 'Act 1'.

I agree, it's pretty lame so far.

I'm probably only going to do one run of Clair, but I'm milkin' it. Just an amazing game, especially considering the budget. What is your go-to party? Mine is Maelle, Verso, Monoco.

Clair Obscur ended up being a 10/10 for me. It was a real treat playing FF7 Remake, Rebirth, and Clair consecutively. Great games.

Starting The Last of Us 1 & 2 next. Only ever played the original back in the day. Both ps5 versions on PS+, so why not.

I think I'm still in that first hour mindset. I played up until the flower ceremony, whatever they call it, but then stopped cause it was just kinda meh.

But right now been playing more Brotato since a new update came out. But really just wasting time until Forza Horizon 6 releases.

After that ceremony intro the game actually starts and quickly gets better.
