FWIW my doctor is Indian too. It's cool though, it's a little more interesting. Went in for a check up and they've swapped out those assless gowns for monk outfits with the hoods which are really cool bc you get to sit and wait all Star Wars'd out like you're Rico on any day that's not halloween

From which country?
In Japan no. They literally have to intervene and stop people becoming doctors because half the country want to be a gynaecologist.
In UK it’s the same but they lack the necessary discipline.

@Jizz Starmer What was the negative pension change you mentioned in an earlier post that Labour made? There's a change I may leave the UK next year, I'm wondering if it will effect me.

You used to be able to pay self employed rates for NI. Now you can not. It is about 5X more expensive.
Frankly I don’t believe they will pay anything to foreign residents when I’m pension age though so there’s also that.

Are you talking about voluntary NI contributions whilst living overseas to maintain a state pension? If so, I found getting this info tricky the gov website is shit for clear information. From what I found people either pay approx £300pa (a bargain) or approx £1k a year, I couldn't figure that part out. Maybe you can clear this up for me? ta'

I'm here to pass on the rumors I hear, that I know nothing about. But I only do that here. IRL I ask Webs what she sees and it's nowhere near the gloom and doom portrayed in the media. I ask my buddy who owns several properties in France if it's polluted with muslims and he says it's nothing like you see in the media. SF is the same - it's easy to see it as completely fucked up everywhere but the reality is the feces lined sidewalks and people doing the fentanyl fold are concentrated in certain neighborhoods like the tenderloin or south of market.

Seems like there's plenty of somewhat normal neighborhoods in all of these big cities plagued by juicy, socially salacious media reporting. Don't get me wrong, CA is completely fucked up and has ass-backwards priorities but with SF in particular there's far more good neighborhoods than slums.

I’m all about decent and open communication.
I did launch a massive and stinking fart in the junkie thread but I stick by it. That’s the past though.
I certainly don’t think discussion of political issues has to be a ‘debate’ or an exposure.
