I've been thinking and wanna just toss this out there:

Thinking about it, idk if I want Brick as a moderator. Don't get me wrong, he's great, and I love and respect the job he did over there. Little dodgy as an Idol judge, but no one's perfect. Anyways, I've already seen moderator Brick and I know what I'm getting. Calm, even handed, deliberate moderation, that he does fairly, competently, and quietly. Which is great.

I want to see Brick unburdened by the shackles of moderation though. I want 5 whiskeys deep, retired, Brick with some opinions to share, and a wife who's tired of hearing em.

We've seen Brick with power. I now want to see Brick be able to tell someone to go fuck themselves.

I agree completely. I told him he's welcome as a mod but also as is. I know he worked damn hard to keep the other site alive. But what can you do if don't have all the access and management don't even answer your emails?

I just want him here.

I think the big difference is that the registration approval removes all the spam bots and optis, I'm not even sure what is there to moderate here. It's basically the castaways and OGs we already know

That's not related to brick just pointing that out that admin or moderation should be really light work from now on once you've done the hard work and set everything up

This week was different because we had to set the whole thing up but it's already getting back to normal for folks. The main difference is that the site don't crash anymore. And I like the colors more. More vivid!

This i agree with. And I also think this would be close to reality as Brick would not need to worry about making waves at USA Today. He has a great sarcastic side that I want to see more of. I, too, would like a drunken, yet intelligent and amusing moderator to keep the peace when needed.

My point is you can tell Brick he wouldn't need to do anything (maybe on rare occasions), "admin" would be more of a honorary title
