If we bring in more folks, we need a sole, fair judge to step in when needed. And Brick has proven to be very hands off. He is fair, and my favorite moderator I've ever encountered.

I don't want to moderate at all! I prefer to work behind the curtains, setting stuff up.

Yeah, that control board is rather complex at first. I wanted a good handle on everything before I made a change. And the search feature isn't terribly helpful.

Disagree. There are lines. I don't want the place I hang out in to be full of hateful shit. Who wants the forum to be like 4Chan? I do not. For me, I will not want to see tolerated any overt racism or serious threats of violence. Casual, fun racism, of course! But there is a line. With no line we're just a comment section on YouTube, and if I wanted that, I wouldn't be hanging out with you fine people.

There will be no overt censorship. But there will be a boundary, it's just wayyyyyyy over there. Over there in a place I don't forsee any of our members crossing. But this place will be open to others. Including optis. And I don't want those people to run things the way they want to. The way opti did. Fuck that.
