But you have to remember the UFC doesn't release there numbers. So those could be slightly inflated numbers. You just kind of have to take there word on the number of buys, or those are estimates. Either way probably not 100% accurate. But theres no doubt they get some big buys and Lesnar will get them a million again when he returns.

WOW!! I seen this the other day and It was a huge surprise to me that the UFC had the number 1 spot beating MAYWEATHER/MARQUEZ, PACMAN/HATTON, PACMAN/COTTO!
HOLYSHYT this is crazy. RASHAD EVANS/MACHIDA sold more than WRESTLEMANIA? wow.. this is cool..
That was Brock's last fight at UFC 100, if they put Anderson on that card, say against Chael or Belfort or another fight at 205.. And a couple exciting LW and WW fights, they could even surpass UFC 100 numbers easily.
Mosley/Mayweather is gonna be the number 1 PPV for this year though. If Mayweather meets Pacman later this year, that would probably be the biggest PPV of all time.

The return of Lesnar this Summer will be the biggest PPV.
Put Lesnar/ carwin/mir
With Gsp or AS and it's pretty much good game!

Thats a really impressive list right there. You can tell just how popular UFC has become when most of the bars in the area put out huge signs saying "WATCH UFC __ HERE LIVE AT 8:00"

That list shows UFC is rising while Boxing is starting to decline.... Face it The only (I MEAM ONLY) fight the public wants to see is Mayweather vs Pacman. AFTER that, Boxing is Dead.... while UFC has more fighters to showcase ala..... Brock Lesnar, GSP, B.J Penn, Anderson Silva (retire soon) and pretty much the LHW division.... dont forget, UFC has a brother promotion in WEC which is really entertaining and a Rival promotion in Strikeforce while Boxing has countless number of promotions that the public cant stand (ex. MoneyMayweather, GoldenBoy, Top Rank, Hatton....

Wow...6 out of the 10 spots taken by the UFC. That's amazing.
1.6 million...I remember when Dana White said that if they made even 1 million buys that he'd base jump off the Mandalay Bay. Did he ever end up following through with that?

If Rashad vs Machida did 650,000 k, how much better do you think Machida vs Shogun II will do??? Holly crap, The UFC producers will have sooooo much material to make THE best countdown in UFC history... never ever ever in the history of the sport a decision has created such a harsh reaction from the MMA community... damm, they could make a whole hour of the countdown only about machida vs shogun... if the UFC has another great fight, this could be a breaking record card...

Definitely! I wasn't super excited about Machida vs Shogun 1 but I bought it. I'm totally pumped for the second fight though. I think it'll do crazy buys.

I think the problem with that fight was that most ppl (im pretty sure if I say 90%) thought shogun had NO CHANCE, hell, the poll here was one of the most one side polls EVER! for a main event, so ppl didnt care much (except really old hardcore ones)... but this fight? shogun has won sooo many fans like no other fighter did from one day to another... even in the stadium, when shogun was presented in the cage, booooo was all you could heard, after the end of the fight, booooo was all you could hear too, but those booo were for the decision, and aiming machida!!! I think this fight will do insane numbers, I Hope dana stacks it, at least with one really good co-main event...

I have a question about these stats...
An individual purchase of a UFC card is ~$50.
If a bar purchases a UFC card, it is $5 or $10 for every 10 people of bar capacity.
How are bar PPV buys tallied?

The owner of a bar in my area told me that the UFC charges based off a bar's capacity. So if the bar's capacity is 100 people, they would charge the bar $1,000 to purchase the PPV. That's why bar's generally charge a $10 cover charge. I might be wrong though.
