Ladies and Gentlemen. Once again, the premiere event of Junkie Fantasy Fighting is upon us. Does your team have what it takes to win it all?
For the newer teams, the format is slightly different than the IJFL. Teams are required to use ALL 6 fighters on their roster, matched up by individual rankings in each fighter's respective leagues (highest ranked fighters face each other) If your teams win 4 of 6 matches, your team moves on. In the event of a tie (3-3), tiebreaker is determined by total points scored. If still deadlocked, then we will use the normal tiebreaker rules as defined by the JFF rules over the entire 6 fighter's picks for each team.
The first event of the GP is Saturday, February 5th, at UFC126-Silva vs. Belfort, and will run only numbered UFC events (126, 127, 128, 129).
For the teams that do not have 6 fighters on their roster, you have until
February 1st at 11:59PM EST
to fill out your roster and signup in this thread.
DO NOT SIGN UP YOUR TEAM UNTIL YOU HAVE FILLED OUT YOUR ROSTER.
Seeding for the GP is taken from the results of the 2010 IJFL Season 1 results. If your team did not particiapate in the IJFL Season, then you will be seeded after those teams based on overall team average taken from the individual rankings (total of individual fighter ranking scores/6). Depending on the number of teams that sign up for the GP will determine if there are byes for the top ranked teams.
