Silvaftw def SusScrofa via submission (104-88) at JFC 108 - UFC 155
SusScrofa had already locked up fighter of the year, was the two time and reigning JFC champ, going 17-4 in his past 21 fights. Silvaftw, despite 71 career fights in the JFC/UJC, had never won even a Contenders fight prior to this improbable run in the JFC GP. He capped off the year and the GP with a win over fighter of the year and his first major title.

not a good year for newcomers in the JFC, 9-9-1, 9-10-0, 6-5-0 were the best records, no title shots for any newcomers, have to cheat a bit and go back to fighters that started at the end of 2011 that had good years in 2012
