1 - FOXnews is not a political entity, they are a media source. If anything its introducing entertainment news
2 - If a democrat let this guy go there would be lynch mobs led by (insert random fox anchor guy) infront of the ex gov's house.
Right or wrong its going to be talked about. If nothing else his thought process on sending this guy on the streets now that he does not have an actual constituency will attract republicans and democrats like moths to a flame.

That was pretty much my point. The usual partisan players in politics and in the media start up a finger-pointing war every time something goes wrong in the country.
My heart goes out to these officers families. All four of them had children, had don't have fathers/mother today. I live in Seattle and am getting f---ing tired of this. On Halloween night a Seattle officer was gunned down in his patrol car and his trainee was shot also. This was down for no reason, same as this fool's reason will end of being.
I normally don't care about response's, but how bout starting a new thread for the political stuff and just leave respect to these 4 officers gunned down while having coffee before starting their Sunday shift.

are you serious? TMZ is entertainment news, entertainment tonight is entertainment news, they report on political news. Each network has news shows that focus on particular things. Is CNN entertainment news also becasue they had Lou Dobbs? Just becasue they have shows leaning to the right or left doesnt make them irrelevant. Who would watch them if they replayed the same clip about the weather or the house bill over and over, they have to include some opinion somewhere.

Break the sentence down. I called foxnews a media source. I didnt say which kind of media , I just called them media in the generic. There can be no complaint about calling them a media source, it is a generic term used to describe any source that feeds the public content through a media form.
Now, look at the second part of the sentence and stop for a second your nuthugging of foxnews and reread it. Ill save you the time, the context of the sentence clearly is saying discussing fox news in itself and how it presents anything is entertainment news, it is so because it is discussing..... a media source.

I think he's talking about the fact that "leftists" have often run into local or state police when protesting for equal rights, but that's mostly behind us now.
I'm sure most people appreciate the ability to dial 911 when lives or property are threatened.
Most police men and women are great people who put themselves at risk on a regular basis to make all of us safer, regardless of political slant.
^^it just pisses me off when people make ridiculous categorizations, like "most leftists don't give a s--- about cops." as if "leftists" are a cohesive group with the same ideals and perspectives.
it's the kind of thinking (binary thinking, the creation of dichotomies, the thinking in black and white, either or, left and right, republican and conservative) that leads to an america with irreconcilable political divisions. it's also the kind of thinking that leads to a two party state, with each party's constituents slinging mud and accusations at each other, claiming to be diametrically opposed in views from the other, but in reality, they are two sides of the same coin.
mtaylor, that kind of thinking has a lot to do with what's politically been wrong with america since the late 1800's.

Looks like Suge Knight's brother... I'm of the opinion that rotting in jail and knowing that you will die in a small cage is worse than giving people like this a quick death. As far as fox news goes... they're probably saying "So, the democrat walks into a coffee shop and kills 4 police officers..." I kinda feel sorry for people who watch fox news and aren't capable of telling how stupid some of the things the do are.

My brother is less then a week from finishing his schooling to become an officer, and as the brother to a man about to put on that hat I have been forced to think about this as a possible ending to this career path. This is the conclusion I have come to as to how to handle this kind of thing.
NOTHING will be enough, but the family (or in this case families) might just feel a little better if they are allowed to take this guy out. I am not the type that could kill a man if I had an option normally, and I hope I never have to know if I could kill the man that killed my brother instead of just holding him down and calling the cops. I would more then likely use some of my MMA knowledge to break and arm or something and THEN call the cops in truth. However, just thinking about it, I would be agry enough that killing that man might just be an option. If I see him in the week it happened I'm most certainly going to be angry enough, but I don't know that anger at that level just goes away ever. And to be clear I would only want to kill him to be sure he died! I would not want to take the chance that he would ever see light as a free man.
These men protect your dumb *** from the rest of the world and you wake up one day with a plan to kill them.... you have lost the greater part of your mind and no punishment will ever be enough.

lost in all of this bulls--- that you jerk offs are arguing about is the fact that 4 people were murdered in cold blood. There are now 9 hung kids that wont ever get to the chance to build a bond with a parent and 4 families have to deal with the fact that there son/daughter, brother/sister is gone because some piece of s--- decided it was alright to kill 4 people for no reason.
yea id think that a little more important then politics and new stations.
