Since I have started on this site one of the most amazing and revolutionary things that I have seen is the news that was started long ago by Bombstriker.
This gave us a daily or every other day look at the league and more entertaining interviews then I can count.
Over the years we have seen Grappelthis, TheWinner, Tai Mai Shu, Castellammarese, Mollica93, Left Hook Row, and myself Buffaloblue manage the news.
I cannot tell you how much work goes into the news when you are writing articles and producing content.
One of the most important things that you as fighters and team captains can do is use the news as a source to send your stories to.
I have turned over the name of JFFNews to Left Hook Row and whomever he is able to find to assist him with the news.
Two items I really want to emphasize here.
If you are intersted in contributing to the news as a writer/news reporter then please contact Castellammarese, elfudge35, Left Hook Row, and Buffaloblue. One or even two people assisting LHR could make this job easier to manage and easier on everyone.
Item number 2
When you have an opening on the team or hire a new fighter, write up a press release and send it to the news, I believe we will see a better commitment to getting these stories posted in a timely manner. Let them know if you want to do an interview or if your new and want to do a fighter profile.
Finally
Read the news and have fun with it. This is something that sets us apart from anyone else in the business right now. If you jsut want to right a story and send it in (so long as its not got an obvious bias), then do it and I am sure the NEws will give you credit for the story.
I hope moving forward we can continue to make this as successful of an endevor that it has been in the past.
