IT University / College has made all of their course material online for free. You can now study any topic which has interested you without having to attend the college.
Great stuff. This might also help educate people who cannot afford to attend the school. Obviously there is no graded given out on completion of the course, but you get all the information from the topic .

They have had MITx for over a year I believe. It is good s---, I signed up and started, the course work just got to hard to continue and have a life. I once took 12 college class in one semester, had two jobs and was a stay at home dad, one class from MIT was almost as much work.
Its pretty awesome when colleges if this caliber offer class for free. The instructors still have to do the work. It really shows their commitment to education.
College education in America is out of control as far as tuition goes.

Electronics and circuit boards. It was the first course they offered. I got an email about the sign up from the Cisco academy alumni newsletter. The math is what f---ed me up the most. Usually when a class says it will require 10-15 hours a week I could get the work done in half the time.... Not so much with this one.
