This is the fight I want to see.
I think it shows how useless weight classes are when your 185lb champ has to cut weight to move up in weight to fight a 205lb fighter. With Anderson I really don't think size matters too much. I wouldn't say put him against Brock and let him get r ape choked... but I think Anderson has secured himself in the UFC HOF and there is nothing left for him @ 185. Rather than strip him of his belt, I think they should retire his belt and issue a new one for the 185ers to fight over.

A lot of fighters cut a good deal of weight getting in preperations for fights. Anderson's natural walking weight is around 220lbs, give or take a few. His frame though, and body type, allows him to cut down, as far down as I think almost to 180 even (not too bad really). That, and the weight classes are TOTALLY necessary. Otherwise, what would we see? BJ Penn vs Nog? Sherk vs Brock?
As for the rest of the post, I agree on the HoF. 10 wins in a row, undefeated in the UFC, more title defenses then ANY other champion.... he will be in the HoF. There is no question about it. Anderson also stated to ESPN, he is not vacating his title, and will defend it, but also compete in 205. The dude only has 3 fights now left on contract, and can retire as the champion, if he so well pleases.

I think Sherk and Brock train together, it's unlikely they would be willing to fight.
Hey, look, I just missed the point!
