days ago Jorge Santiago said that he is in talks with the SF coker and he said to him that they want him but in order to get him they need to release some contracts.
Now this news, it might be that the reason to release both figthers? i hope so since i think Santiago needs to be in SF and he wants to be there badly

Not only that, but they showed up at TUF tryouts.

Man, Galvao could really put a spark into the boring as crap 170 division. He seems to have some good potential, and i'm sure training with the Nogs will help him reach that potential. Hope he makes it into TUF at the very least.

Thats weird. Coker did an interview with some one (maybe Helwani) a week or two ago and they were asking about Santiago and Coker said he thought he was still under contract with SF.
I am glad that SF is actually doing more to cut some contracts. I would prefer they swing the axe at Lindland or Riggs though. Mind you this next fight is the last on Lindlands contract so maybe. I would have liked to have seen Amoussou get another fight. I have to wonder if either of these guys asked to be released. In any case it is healthy to have turn over in the organization.

dude is got sick grappling skills, and hes got determination, also hes pretty athletic, I think with some training he can make a big splash... it was a dumb move to take a fight with woodley in a short notice, not to mention he probably could've done much better if he wouldnt have gotten caught on the firs exchange of that fight...

??????? Lightweight is arguably the UFC's best division. Galvao has no future in the UFC, they're expected to cut the combined UFC/WEC roster down to 210-230. They'll be cutting guys who are better than Galvao.

it is weird that SF has release Galvao since his WW division is very slim and has no deep
on Amoussou well is not big deal since the MW division has a good amount of figthers and it has been notice they want to add more talent in there and there are some figthers out there that can be make that division better, santiago for example is one of them

SF wouldn't have to release people if they'd let others fight on their cards besides TBA.......that guy is fighting in each and every division.

You're absolutely right, Lightweight is very deep. And Galvao fights at WW, which is where I am saying he could bring some excitement. Why would the UFC cut a young, up and comer with good potential? Either way, he's trying out for TUF, it's not like there are gonna be a bunch of dudes way better than him trying out for that show.

LMAO!!! My bad... I (obviously) meant that that welterwight is the UFC's best division, and there just isn't any room for the guy. I guess it wouldn't hurt to stick him in TUF (but I don't think he'd do particularly well).

do you even know who galvao is????
I cant say if he is going to be the UFC WW champ, (probably not), but TUF?
yeah, guys are going to school one of the best grapplers in the wordl... you put anyone on the ground with galvao, and they will get tooled pretty badly... you know, sometimes, once in a while, may be, fights go to the ground, that place where galvao is pretty damm exeptionally good!
TUF has ppl like Bruce le Roy (alex) whos got probably one of the worst triangles in the world, winning by... triangle! dude is got way below average ground game, still got 2 subs... hell, most TUF fighters come into the house with not blowminding records (with a few exeptions), but yeah, galvao is going to not do well there... Just because a beast like tyron woodley beat his *** pretty badly (dumb mistake by galvao by taking the fight in short notice though) doesnt mean he can school most tufers... is he going to win? dont know, but im pretty damm sure he'll do more than fine... (this if Dana lets him in the house, wich I dont know if he will) imagine what could happen, galvao goes and win TUF, with his grappling background, after a couple of fights, he could be a contender... a SF reject a contender in the UFC WW division, thats going to look pretty damm bad for the UFC...
