Only one fight on the card. That would be JDS vs Cain five round title fight... One hour, one fight.

Want me to write 2 sentences explaining that DW has made it official by saying that Cain will defend title against JDS on FOX?

They better stack up the under card a little bit in case it only goes a round or two.

Junkie says:
The UFC's debut on FOX features just two guaranteed fights during a one-hour special, but the promotion will put on a full fight card for those attending the event.

This is awesome! Free HW title fight!!!! Good ish!! I predict in the neighborhood of 10 million viewers for this fight. I will save the $70 dollars Bob Arum is charging to see his snooze fest.

Junkie is wrong. Dana said that it will be one fight and one fight only.

It's the only guaranteed fight shown on Fox but they will show other fights if possible. I think what they will do is show whichever fights are most entertaining of the ones that have happened before the Fox broadcast begins. So if there were a couple of one round finishes before the main event, they will probably show them. Remember the idea is to maximize ratings for the first ever network broadcast. They don't want to risk saying "we are going to show fight X" and then have that fight turn out to be boring. They have to do that with the main event, but it's pretty much guaranteed to be a great fight so there's not much risk there.

This sucks. I was planing on going to UFC 139. That card is no where near stacked enough to remove a title fight. Dana must have 2 really good fights planned for that card cause on paper it's not that great.

OR the op could have just posted it in the "Dana to make
announcement
on friday" thread. Altough that would make too much sense.

I think he was just trying to clarify, since some guys were freaking out in this thread thinking that this fight will be the only one shown no matter what. Maybe a little lengthy, but still necessary IMO.
