Who is it this time boys?....Yes it's happened again..1 fighter from drug tests for UFC 152 has had therapeutic use exception for testosterone replacement therapy...I will laugh my head off if it was Jon Jones(doubt it though)..Probably Vitor..Not Bisping or Stann(surely)..Goat67 you're up lol, we need an answer of why and whom????..
Marc Ratner said he had the exemption...I'm getting sick of this shitt..If it's a young fighter under 25 then this is BS..
Anybody heard anything?.

Ontario's AC doesn't do drug testing, so the onus fell to the UFC. They in turn decided not disclose this info; although, Tom Wright, director of operations UFC Canada claimed he was willing to, the UFC put the kibosh on that.
No reason was given for the non-disclosure. However the UFC is a private company and, since they are conducting their own drug testing for UFC 152 in conjunction with an unnamed third-party testing lab (that will forward the drug test results of all four title fight participants and others randomly selected on the card to the OAC if sanctions are merited), they do not have to make information on fighters applying for a TUE for TRT public. If the OAC did their own testing, this would have been public information.

Who knows. Hamill slowed down a lot then retired maybe figured if he took some legal steroids he'd be more explosive.

if it was hamill then this is yet again another proven example of how TRT makes fighters into supermen with god like powers

Good for them.
It's legal......and allowed by the athletic commission. I have no idea why people still harp on this. It's not like there will be any asterisks beside Dan Henderson's name if he beat Jon Jones while using TRT and there wouldn't have been an asterisks if Chael Sonnen beat Anderson Silva a few months ago. So really...who cares about it anymore?

Only those who think that the majority if not everyone using it, is only doing it to juice up vice for therapeutic/medicinal purposes.

but it's not banned.....and you need medical proof that you require it. Despite all the grumblings about it, it's not like the commission is an easy going place where it just allows stuff for no reason. It doesn't even allow weed...the worst "performance enhancer" of all time!

I'm not against it. Just answering the question. My stance has always been as long as it prescribed by a licensed physician for medicinal purposes, I got no beef.

Dan Henderson or Randy Couture is pretty reasonable they're older guys but this is the reason people have a problem with it.
Todd Duffee is 26 and looks like this.
And he somehow doesn't have enough testosterone and needs to be given more?

^^^ you guys aren't doctors........you don't know their medical history
and to say its ok for older fighters is a joke......its not natural for a 40 year old guy to have the same T levels as a 20 year old.......seriously you guys think that is fine?

I'm actually on the fence now about older fighters getting an exemption, before I didn't think any guy should be allowed it,but fighters like Hendo and Couture would have a valid reason due to there age, unlike people like Todd Duffee,Chael Sonnen and Forest Griffin that are still so young...
My way of thinking about this issue was if you're not producing enough testosterone? ,you either work around it as best as you can and just get on with it.Or you just accept defeat and retire, but I also enjoy watching the likes of Hendo kicking arse at 43(even if he needs a little help to train and fight)..
I'm still not totally convinced about it though..

LOL...why do you guys think 30s is still "young"??? You are basically considered dead at 30 in the NFL if you're a running back and average NFL retirement age is 28. I would probably stop using age as the basis for any argument on TRT. We are lazy armchair QBs that write little forum posts on the internet...these guys are world class athletes that have been putting their bodies through hell for a decade. Do the math.
