Anybody Play Fantasy Football??

Eh, I would wait to see who get dropped and added to the team. Is Gore still on the 49ers? If he is then he gets most of the offense, if theyve picked another hb then I would say no, if hes on another team, i would see who the other running back is. J.Charles is solid thou. Vick is a dawg ^^

Ya all the rankings I have seen have Charles in the top 5 so im thinking I should stick with him and Vick. There arent going to be many good QBs available so I think I almost have to keep him and Gore's contract situation/health worries me. Im leaning towards Vick and Charles

I'd go with Charles for sure. Regardless of him splitting time with Jones, he puts up huge numbers, and has only gotten better. Jones is getting older and will get less and less carries as Charles develops further.

Same thoughts and Gore seems to have injury troubles here n there anyway
Well, all three are top 20 players (maybe even top 15)
Are you in a PPR league? If so, I might just take both RB's because they both will get you 40-50 receptions (maybe even more in Gore's case if he stays healthy).
If not, I would probably go Vick and Charles... Gore has too many durability issues and the 49'ers have too many question marks on the offensive side of the ball. (you don't want to be in a S. Jackson situation where he accounts for all of the offense, but on a team who rarely puts the ball in the endzone)

I should add that if you know what other owners in your league are doing with their keepers, you should factor that in as well.
In my old keeper league we had to announce who we were dropping a week before the draft. If you saw that only 2 teams were keeping QB's, you would be more likely to let Vick go, because you could either re-draft him with your first round pick... or, worst case, you would still get a top 5-6 QB with your first round pick (and be set at RB).
The two best (on paper) players in a standard league are definitely Vick and Charles, but if your entire league is holding onto their RB's and you are going to have to draft a RB outside of the top 20 as your second back... it almost makes more sense to keep both backs, because the difference between the 6th QB and the 1st QB isn't nearly as big as the difference between the 20th RB and the 3rd RB.
Also, does your league have 2 QB's, or are you starting just one? If you are starting 2 QB's, than you MUST keep Vick, because I can just about guarantee you that any other team with a top 10 QB will be holding onto that player.

Basically what I'm saying is... it really depends on the league you are playing in. Standard league where you don't know who anyone is dropping ahead of time, keep the best available players (Vick and Charles). Depending on the league format though, there could be situations where you might want to hang onto Gore.
Best player that SHOULD be available will be MJD, but thats hoping that I can get the top pick to snag him.
The way our league works is if you keep 1 player, you lose your 1st round pick. If you keep 2 players then you lose your 1st and 2nd round pick. If I want to get MJD I would have to not keep anyone and hope I get a high pick. And it isnt PPR to answer your other question.

It's real easy to create leagues and such, plus manage a league. Once the league is created, thats it.
But, I prefer ESPN for fantasy football. Just much better than the others IMO.

It's real easy to create leagues and such, plus manage a league. Once the league is created, thats it.
But, I prefer ESPN for fantasy football. Just much better than the others IMO.

I think 10-12 is the only way to go. If you can get that many than im def in.
ESPN and Yahoo are the best Fantasy Football site IMO

Ok, so MMAJunkie, I'll get one started in a few minutes. PM me email addresses for invites. I'll get this ball rolling. 12 teams total, and I'll find a good date / time for live draft. Will be on ESPN (since I already have the iphone app for it, lol).
And be ready for the whoppin ya'll are about to receive.
I might be down...let me see what happens with my other league. It's pretty involved and can take a lot of time...it's an IDP keeper league, and I'm up against a wall deciding if I'm going to keep Adrian Peterson and whether I'm going to keep him as a "franchise" player (no timetable to release him) or switch him to just "keeper" status (a 3 year limit)...and if I do the latter, whether I should put Mike Wallace as my franchise.
On defense, I'll wing it like I always do.
