After watching him at the press conference, hearing again about his story and then watching the video on him on UFC.com, I just gotta love the guy...the fact that he admits that he wanted to be a Ninja lol, too funny! This guy is honest and very athletic, I think he's going to be a lot for Mirko to handle

I do if he backs it up with a dominant performance. If he comes in lacking any aspect of the mental game, then i'll bummed.
Although i'm much more of a fan of his leg kicks than his personality. don't much care about a fighters personality outside the cage or ring.

Yeah, those leg kicks are brutal, but for me personally I like to hear about a fighters back story, especially someone like this who had a lot to overcome. It makes the fights more interesting to me.

his personsality is great i really hope he does great 2nite vs crocop. i think he is just way to small vs the big wrestlers in the ufc right now he should drop down to 205. but war barry!!!!

I like his attitude, and think that he has a lot of potential, but I don't love him.

I probably like his personality more than his fighting skill, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan. But if Tim Hague subbed him in the first round, imagine what a BJJ guy like Mir, or wrestlers like Cain or Brock would do to him on the ground. Not to mention, he is fairly undersized. But, the dude can strike with anyone in the HW division for sure.

I am a fan. That said I won't disapointed by a LHK KO from Cro Cop and would be equally content with a Barry KO/TKO win.

he's a funny guy. seems a little arrogant but i guess he has a reason. he's the kind of guy the ufc would have killed for back in the days when tim sylvia was the best thing the heavyweight division had to offer in the ufc.

I think Barrys gonna take out CC. And yes you gotta love his attitude. Guy really deserves where he is at right now.
On a side not. Barrys legs are huge. I would be surprised if he somehow cripples CC legs during the first round.

I wouldn't really say he's undersized. he's heavier than CC and his legs are huge. If you look at his body structure, this guy was made to kill people with his legs.

Well, in his other UFC fights, he's weighed in in the 230s. And he's only 5' 11". I was mostly talking about his height though. Cause as thick and ripped as he is, I doubt he could make 205 anyways unless he completely changed his whole physique. But, with him being that short, he will have a hard time against the guys like Cain, Mir, Brock, Carwin, etc. who are all 4 or more inches taller than him. Sure, his kicks hurt like hell, but what happens when someone catches one of the kicks as it hits their body, and takes him down. I'm not sure he has the grappling experience quite yet to defend himself properly. And I know he is young in his career, and has plenty of time to get better at that. But as of right now, I'm not sure about it.
At least we won't have to worry about that kind of fight tonight, though. Who do you give him if he wins this fight tonight? Keep feeding him strikers while he works on his overall game? Kongo maybe? The winner of Yvel/Rothwell?

The guy is super respectful, which is huge for me in terms of liking him. He's pretty exciting in the ring as well, so thats a plus. He trains at the same camp as Acog, so he gets a little favoritism there as well. Pat Barry gets 9 out of 10 stars in my book overall. As a fighter though, I don't see him threatening to much in the HW division, the guy is just to short and stubby. I will watch him fight any day though.

Damn, I wish he would have jumped on CC in the first on one of those knock downs......Pat wtf!!? Still love the guy though, and hopefully he really focus' in on the ground game now...
