The floor was shaking in our high-rise on floor 30 in Columbus, but not much to scare us. We definitely noticed it as an earthquake, though. Our building will sway in high winds but (1) it's not windy and (2) this felt way different, as it was centered in the floor and not the walls.

There is widespread devastation in Detroit from the earthquake, but nobody can tell the difference.

I can understand how this can scare a person who has never been in a earthquake before... But a 5.8? I don't even get out of bed for one like that. Talk to me when it hits 6.5 and over, and shakes for more then 30 sec. We get below 6.0 earthquakes almost every day here.... Never has it made the news.....
Not trying to say its not scary if you have never been in one before.... But its all that is on the news now.... Sorry but a 5.8 quake is nothing

Not in southern RI, though people 20min north of me said they did.
Lotta friends in DE area said they really felt it (shook computers, spilled drinks, etc...), but nothing major.

I love in Eastern PA and felt nothing, although my neighbor up the road claims his house shook. I was wide awake and remember feeling nothing, so obviously it was a pretty minor thing here
