So i have my next fight lined up for April 16. Its going to be a catch weight around 22 or 225. I have heard the guy is a brawler type fighter, and ZERO ground. Obviously I want to take him down and work the ground and pound, any other tips or suggestions

Still Ammy.
Its the Rumble at the Resort, At the ClockTower resort in Rockford Il. Its the second time i have fought for this promotion, if you get a chance to fight on Clay Goodmans card, jump on that as quick as you can. Clay treats his guys great~

imo its good that he has no ground but dont go for a take down right off he has more than likely worked on that exact scenario, try to see what he is gonna do. if he just runs at you punching, than dropping levels and taking him down may be best but if he seems to want you to come to him the take down could be harder. you never know you could have the better striking . in any case have fun and best of luck

Thanks for the advice TIC. Word around town is he talks a really big game but fails to back it up in the cage. Still training for this fight like it was for a title none the less. I am looking forward to getting my hands on him

So my original oppenent backed out of the fight last minute cuz he just didnt wanna fight any more. Luckily a kid from another gym was willing to step up and take a pancration fight against me at the very last minute. It is his 1st fight ever. I have all sorts of respect for Justin Barber from No Joke Martial arts for stepping up and ready to throw down tonite.
My official weight was 224, his was 227

wish i was in the hospital so they could help me manage this pain. I dislocated 3 ribs in the fight, midway through the 1st round. I was working a guilliotine, and he got a double leg. I went to scramble, my *** went left, my torso went right and POP POP POP. I am shelved for at least 12 weeks. The s--- hurts sooooo bad.
