Man....i just flipped over to general forum and there isnt a new topic out there. Its either something about Brock, something about how DW is a prick, best P4P, Who's gonna beat Fedor, Who's got the biggest tv (oh wait, thats off topic)...something about Gina. I'm just wondering if at some point when all the topics have been covered, maybe the mods will just delete all archived threads and start over??? Like when you fly around the world you eventually get back to where you started. I'm pretty creative, and yet i find it difficult at times to even think up new/fresh ideas.
Its sad when topics are "best open handed pimp slap in mma history"...i mean...come on!! (sorry if thats your thread).
And as i'm thinkin about this....every thing is soo redundant i'm even sure there has probably been another thread rambling about how threads are rehashed!! Oh the irony.....

I agree completely. I find myself coming to the forums and junkie's site less and less due to the slowness/lack of breaking news, topical posts, sheer idiocy, and lack of respect exhibited by other posters on the site.
It's been a real bummer for me considering back in the day how great the converstation used to be amongst the "originals". Oh well, I guess I'll go back to work on starting a thread for my favorite d--- and fart jokes.

Not sure how news worthy this is, so take it with a grain of salt, but Ariel Helwani of MMA Rated posts on another site I frequent and alluded that the future of MMARated.com is looking pretty dim. He said he would have more news later.

I know what you're saying, man. There is sometimes good discussion in the main forum right before and after big fights, but other than that, IMO the better action is in the OT. I don't think we will ever run out of things to talk about over here.

It's not terrible. But it's certainly not quite the same.
Take into account, some of the best debates are completely played out now. They weren't before. Fighter pay wasn't a stupid topic at one time. UFC vs. Pride was at one point a valid, if pointless, topic. Fighters' antics on TUF weren't old news at one point. There's only so much to talk about, and most of it has been talked to death by this point.
For me, it's not so much finding interesting topics as it is finding the occasional post that seems worth responding to. I do typically enjoy match-up threads for fights that are actually going to happen. But they don't appear to be very popular unless it's a fight involving Brock or Fergie. You can get some good conversation in the wagering thread on that topic though.

Oh i agree 100%.....i like the smart *** topics in OT, but then every once in awhile it dawns on me that i'm on an mma website and maybe i should discuss some mma stuff for a minute and i flip over to general and i'm like...."ummmmmmm....no thanks! I'd prefer to talk about fat people on a plane!!" LOL.....sad but true!
