I was just thinking the same thing. This seems like the longest wait for coach announcements ever. Hopefully we don't end up with some lame match-up thrown together at the last minute. Urijah says he hasn't been approached. Chael says he is fighting in March right after his suspension is up. Leben just got knocked out. Brock is off in the wilderness day-dreaming about back-flipping off WWE ropes. Who's it gonna be Dana?!
Faber also already has a fight lined up. I like to think they are still trying to get Wandy and Chael. No one else interests me. I don't really think they will go the HW route anymore because they have no guys left to fight each other let alone lock up two more guys for 3 months to film a TV show.

Neither guy has much personality or charisma. Maynard is absolutely horrible on camera/mic. But they would both probably make good coaches, bring in good assistants, and it would be good build-up for the third fight. I'll take it.

Dana is wanting the third fight asap, it would take too long for them to go through TUF, wait for it to be shown on TV, and then fight.
Wandy and Sonnen would be gd tv but i'd like to see a couple coaches that make sense title wise or a couple fighters that are in contention. The ufc might want to consider a couple guys from the new weight classes. get those guys on the map. the Ultimate Fighter brings alot of new fans into our sport AND WHAT BETTER way to help it and the new divsions. just wondering what everyone thinks???
Watch it be 2 fighters that we are not expecting then people won't be happy then the season and the coaches fight will both be more then we ever expected! :lol:

Couture vs. Machida as the coaches would be excellent as long as Machida doesn't make his guys drink their own piss. It would be pretty cool to see Machida teaching his Karate to the guys on the show though.

I like the idea, but I don't want to wait all the way until July to see them fight, I want them to have the rematch as soon as possible so Pettis can get his shot without waiting too long to finally get his title shot.

I agree but with the suspension's just announced it may just have to happen.
