Exactly this. It's not like UFC keeps better fighters. he gets some point only because Conor says he knows him and they train together.
I would throw him out of the UFC. Let's see how long can he stay there.

If he loses this fight however, he will be 11-12-1. No way the UFC keeps him then. Must win fight for him.

They will show he's walkout it will be another oppertunity to talk about Conor for 2 minutes and I'm sure he has a following in Ireland
We will also hear cliches like "iron sharpens iron" and " he's a important part of Conor's preparation and success in the UFC joe"

Lobov ran into one of the most highly technical and unorthodox BJJ guys in the sport. A true specialist of sorts. This is a completely different fight. I don't know how everyone forgets how dominant Lobov was on the show... 3 first round knockouts. He has serious power. His record is terrible, lets be real. But the UFC is always looking for new fighters who let it fly and go for the knockout 95% of the time. Not surprised at all to see him get another shot, after all he did take the replacement bout with Ryan Hall who was a harder stylistic matchup. You guys are acting like Alex White is the next big thing. He has 1 win in the UFC over a journeyman in Estevan Payan. He is more well rounded and probably the better wrestler. Hoping Lobov lands another big shot early finishing White with strikes!!

I hope Lobov wins but we'll see, his style is completely based on,''Will I land the big shot?'' If he isn't landing big strikes even if the fight stays on the feet he still gets out struck because of his style. Whether he wins this fight or not I see him being cut unfortunately.

I thought him getting another fight was ridiculous, but then I saw this post, and looked it up. Not as bad anymore. But if he loses this fight, then still gets another, I'll be back to thinking it's ridiculous.

Ryan Hall couldn't sub Lobov, I doubt the blue belt will.
I agree that White can win tho but I reckon it'll be on the feet.

Lobov had an impressive run against a group of sub par fighter's. The American team really did suck. Guy's record speaks for it self. He will lose, and be cut. Unless he has some crazy skill leap, he's a brawler and really not a very good one.
