Askren vs. Koreshkov: Someone's 0 gots to go!!!

I hope that Askren gets his face mashed in, there's just something about that kid that wants me to see lose and get hurt, but it's all pointing to a predictable grapple shag decision win for him. I think in a five round fight Ben does not want to stand and trade with this guy for too long, as Koreshkov is the real deal, especially on the feet..He's also well rounded too, but Askren will get his hands on him and turn it into dry hump for 5 rounds IMO
Koreshkov is a dangerous fight for Ben. Great tdd and his striking is light years ahead of Bens. He's hard to take down but he hasn't fought someone who is half the wrestler Askren is. He also doesn't look to have much if you do get him down as well as cardio issues. I think Koreahkovs movement will give Askren trouble early and he will probably rock him at least once with an uppercut when Ben is rushing in but if Ben gets ahold of him I don't see him defending the takedowns. Then when Andrey gasses in the later rounds I could see Ben getting another finish

there's no denying Askrens wrestling and now growing MMA grappling skills. but he has an awkward style that will leave him open to get hit. even Shield's could would have a chance to land clean strikes on Askrens chin. imagine what an explosive WW with a sprawl and brawl style do, or a heavy handed wrestler like Kos or Pierce do. GSp wouldn't even let the fight go to the ground.
Askren really needs to go the UFC. He will never be challenged in Bellator. I for one would love to see what he can do against the elite wrestlers of the UFC's WW division as well as superior grapplers such as Shields and Maia.
Me being one of Askrens 10 or so fans he really aughta buy me a beer.
