Nobody knows MMA like NPD. Hell, he probably invented half the moves we see on the TV fighting shows.
I don't care much for Barrnett one way or another so I won't get sucked into that argument.
But i think it is disrespectful coming in that much over. Woman's MMA needs to look at it's weight classes real hard. There may be a lack of talent in other classes but there was a time the UFC only had a LHW and HW division....
Woman's mma is still new and lacking talent so maybe they just need to stick to one general HW class for now. Like 150 or something. This is getting old to me. I am HUGE Carano and Cyborg fans but if they can't hit weight it's pointless.

Here are some facts. When Randy fought Josh, who was on steroids, thew whole first round he beat him. The whole first round he had top position. Josh Barnett did not do s---, and that was with him on illegal stuff and Randy not being anything close to as great as he is today. If you wanna think real fight, the only reason Josh had an oppurtunity to even get to a second round was because the round ended. Randy was controlling Josh and gnp him. And Josh being on roids makes a f---ing difference. Your lying if your saying it does not. Do you think Josh off the roids would have been able to get Randy off him in the second round when Randy was doing the exact same thing as the earlier round. Just like when your in the f---ing gym, your doing your sets and reps. Some moron roider is squeezing out some more reps directly because the steroids in his system give him that extra explosion.
I dont take steroids. I am a personal trainer, I do take different supplement and 1 of the things I take is No explode which I cycle on and off. I still am very strong and able when I am not on it. But I can tell clearly the extra something I have when I take that. Especially if I take like a scoop and half or more at once. I feel like some super energy. And that is not a steroid. No Explode is very productive stuff and fast in my system. But its legal and you can buy it at gnc. In any sport Steroids give you an unfair advantage. But more than any sport, in fighting it does. Because your not playing ball. Your direcltly in a match with someone and you guys are doing whatever you can to take the bout.
And Josh is the same as he was then, nothing has indicated he has made any improvement as a fighter. Stop being so narrow minded and looking at age. Randy is a shitload better now than he was then. He would have beat Josh in a real fight back then. And he beats him even easier now.
Whats interesting is before, everyone was saying how Carano didn't take her training serious & how Cyborg would crush her. Now you see Cyborg miss weight, and you see the issue. The problem is the lack of weight classes in womens mma. Elite set the weight at 140 because they knew they would have more competition for Gina if she could come down a bit. She struggled to get to 140. Yet, Cyborg fought at 148.5 in her last Elite fight and no one said sh*t. If Strikeforce were to set the weight at 148 (or even 145) this benefits Carano over Cyborg.
I don't think its disrespectful like Barnett said...its just tough when you have limited weight classes

The whole "roid" thing is a little over-rated if you ask me. In what part of the cycle does roids teach you technique?
Barnett the same? Hasn't improved? IDK aboout that. His striking is better and his transitions seem smoother to me.

Why do you think these guys would risk a year suspension and getting their reputation ruinded if that was not to be true. The fact that Randy fought Josh like that on steroids further enforces Randy as the better fighter and shows how roids affected that fight. Roids help recovery and strenght. They're are a lot of things that do this. But Roids does it much more than anything else. Roids is so strong that overall it is very unhealthy for you short term and long term. But it does give you unfair advantages. The way Josh got Randy off of him, was very similar to a bench press. People go through great changes by legal stuff, what kind of changes do you think they go through on illegal stuff.
If Josh was not on juice, Randy would have probably finished him in the first round. Or even if it went to more rounds, Randy would have maintaned his position better. theres is only one thing you said is true... Roids help you recovery and strengh... but is not like you turn into a hulk... and more likely.. if josh was using roids, or any other guy using roids in profesional fighting sports that know they will be tested, they are most than certanly without the roids effect in terms of strengh ... you have to be an f*** idiot to come in roid up to a fight, ppl get caught because they dont know how to cycle off properly, or missed it or did it wrong... stanozolol (if I'm not mistaken, was the roids josh got caught with, I could be wrong though) is a short acting roid, that means it clears pretty fast your system, as well as the effect goes away pretty fast once the cycle is off... that's why stanozolol is a roid that's injected eod (every other day), for it's short half-life... and for real, I will not start to talk about roids again, I did it for like 20 pages in 2 different post... wanna say something, use the search function... you will get plenty info in those post...
