Fox sports shows no respect to Bellator and the sport of MMA.
They will literally show anything instead of the live fights.
Usually they delay to 11 CT, but today it wasn't even on at all.
They showed air racing instead. (wasn't even a live race, just an overview of what's happened).
They will even let a show about fishing over run Bellator's
delayed
time.
If Bellator wants to advance as a company, they must find a new broadcasting partner.

Totally agree. They show the baseball game every time I try and watch it.

Who else is going to give Bellator a better deal now?
Its not perfect but I mean, ESPN is not ready to start showing live fights either. Versus has WEC and UFC. Spike TV has UFC. Where else is Bellator going to go?
I live on the west coast and I don't even get to watch UFC events live on Spike. I just DVR everything. Better than nothing.

ESPN 2 would be a great place for them, they were already on ESPN Deportes, so it would be awesome to have them on at least ESPN 2
HDNet is always out there for any MMA promotion, but it wont get them out there enough

Fox Sports has many different variations for each region.
Mine (Oklahoma) did not show the fights in anyway and won't until sunday at 8.

Bellator probably cannot get anything better that what they currently have set up.
I never complained before about fight times because I had DTV with all FSN channels. Now I have cox and I'm lucky to see events live, so I know how many feels now!

If they want to go on ESPN then it won't air until the middle of the night. There are just far too many main stream sports on ESPN that take up primetime slots. That is really the problem with Fox Sports as well. I know most of the local channels will show the baseball games (or basketball or hockey in the winter) and Bellator isn't usurping those games or the national shows.
Bellator should find some cable channel like the UFC did with Spike and go with that. Maybe MTV or VH1, which show plenty of non-music stuff anyway, or a channel that has (or had) the WWE i.e. SciFi or USA or even the smaller lesser networks like the CW (WWE) or My Network TV (IFL). MTV, VH1, SciFi, USA, and the CW are all affliated with either NBC or CBS, both of which have shown MMA in the past, so there is a relationship there.
If Bellator can get a consistent weekly program on one of those channels, which have much broader audiences then just sports, it would really help them grow and expand.

As much as I hate losing fights to dumb regional football 1200 miles away from me.
I think Bellator FC needs Fox sports much more than Fox Sports needs Bellator Fc.

Yeah,
It all sounds great on paper. " we have so and so distributers and will be on all over the tv, yada yada yada" meanwhile... come fight night, you can't watch the f'ing fights because they're showing other programming...
I had to use my DVR's search feature to find fox sports and when I went to the bellator listing for 11pm, it was some red bull flight s---. I don't think they aired anything last week either.

ESPN 2 isn't happening cards just aren't big enough two show a one every week. To have a card every week on a major network is big for them and MMA is a hole.
Now with all that said, I live in FL and have Dish Network the first two cards Bellator showed on FoxSports live none of them was in HD all in SD which sucked a right ***, then they didn't show 4 cards in a row one was on tape delay. I when to Denver for 2 weeks and they didn't show it their live or delay. I got back to FL they started to show Bellator in tape delay then the seasons stop and now seasons 3 they been showing it Live and in HD so it could be improving.

Yeah, I watch on Comcast Sports Net, but basically the same thing. They like to play baseball, then the fights show up at 11, 12, 1AM. Then I spoil the results by checking junkie the next day at work.

Get a better provider then guys. Dish network channel 444 shows bellator live every week no matter what region your in. I used to get the same problems you guys get by tuning into fox sports rocky mountain until I ran upon it showing on 444, now I catch it live every week

So an upstart Org should drop their network deal? Seriously? if it was that easy to be televised then every promotion would be. They do kind of treat them badly but some coverage is better than none.

Up in Canada things are getting worse not better. The channel that carries it used to do it on Friday night with a one day delay. Now they do it Sunday night. By the time we get to see the fights they are ancient history. I like the Bellator product but I fear for their future.

It was showing on ALT channel for Dish network for the first 2 cards live too but then it stop for what every reason and it started to show a hokey games or showed nothing, hell Bellator 28 was on SUN Sports channel a FL station (not a fox channel) and it was showing live their and tape delay on Fox so its still a give and take with the provider.

Doesn't come on in my area until Sunday. That's quite a delay. I'm trying to avoid spoilers, (for example by not reading any of this thread other than your OP), but I think I just spotted one in someone's thread title (which is fine).
