Doesn't matter what you put on the poll Akira wins. Absolutely phenomenal, and to me anyways, was the film that made anime into a viable mainstream artform in the west.

I was mostly kidding. The only two Anime films I've ever seen are Akira and one of the Urotsukidōji movies.
Akira was just OK to me, and Urotsukidōji was some sick *** s---.
Edit: There was one more, but I can't remember the name. It was a series, maybe 10-12 episodes. Lord of the rings type of story. Pretty popular as I recall. Any idea what it might have been called?
Edit edit: Record of the Lodoss Wars. That's it. Good stuff.

I voted Akira. 3 votes for Ninja Scroll? :? I didn't like that too much. I got huge into Inuyasha for a while back in the day, so all the Inuyasha movies were pretty f---ing sweet to me. Inuyasha now has the Final Act out. I've watched only the first episode so far will get around to the others soon. The first one was pretty damn good.
