Only because people on another post have been debating the legitimacy of some of the sites. Please rank your top 5 in order NOT including mmajunkie (as we already know they are the best)
To me, Fightmatrix.com is good for rankings and Wiki or Sherdog are more for fight records and some news. And there are things like following twitter feeds or generic sites like ESPN or Bleacher Report.

As far as credibility, I don't trust anyone other than Junkie, Weekly and Fighting

BJPenn.com could write an article about how the sun will come up tomorrow, and I'd google it to make sure

I don't go anywhere else but here. I don't even use the main site that much, the forums is where it's at.
Used to go to middleeasy for the lols but they sold the site and now it's trash.

I use here as my go to for news etc but I also like Sherdog for it's more light-hearted articles, such as its Sherdog Top Ten and Stories From The Road series.

I like Bloody Elbow for news, cause they are the fastest, and they have added some good video content, something mma sites are way behind on. But Sherdog is proboly my fav, since i was there since the beginning and cause of fightfinder and the podcasts and such.
Twitter is the best news source in mma though.

Lol Sherdog. These sites are fastest for a reason. Facts unimportant.

sherdog is the grandaddy of mma sites, gotta follow it, at least the fightfinder. "these sites", you mean bloody elbow? yeah it can rush stories at times, but in my experience they got stuff up sooner than others, and more diverse news too. thats the problem with junkie and mmafighting and such, they all have the same stories and only do the mainstream stuff. clickbait, as you would say

Sherdog can still deliver excellent articles. Lots of the sites connected through SBNation sort of rerelease each others articles. But of course Junkie reigns supreme.

There are plenty of great writers outside of those three. Do your research and you'll find solid work outside of the big MMA news sites.

Bloody Elbow is my go-to site. They'll report on all the major news from other outlets & their original content can be outstanding sometimes.

I was referring to breaking news, trustworthy sources etc. Not the quality of the articles. Chill out on the "do your research"

I noticed the Underground is missing. They are a forum, but
they break a lot of news
and for that matter, a lot of fights are made on the strength of posts there. Only forum where Dana White creates entire fan events for its members. And only site where fighters routinely post and drop dimes on each other occasionally when they are pissed off lol

"Chill out" on your thinking I meant "do your research" in a negative sense. The sentence was meant to encourage you to seek it out because there is good writing outside of the three, not meant to demean you in anyway.
Regardless, there are a few guys outside of that spectrum that break news, but those three are usually one of the first to report on something. Sometimes it just depends who gets the press release and writes about it first.
