I'm really curious if they will show Fedor. In the commercials you see him being slammed by Randleman, but will they show his fights? It's free marketing for Fedor in the US and will increase his value drastically next time negotiation time comes around. The UFC will be able to afford him regardless, but it might push his value up past Strikeforce's grasp.

They will probably just show the fights he lost during his Pride years...
Oh wait...
Ahh forget it.

I'm sure they'll show Gono armbarring Mousasi before every CBS card though.
I think the reason Zuffa is doing this is to promote Fedor. I mean they had all this PRIDE footage for years and just NOW they want to make a TV show about it? :?
It does make me wonder if Fedor has already signed a contract to go to UFC after his current contract is up - if we see Fedor in this program I am certain he is UFC bound.
I suspect they will focus on many of the PRIDE fighters that are currently in the UFC, naturally. But I don't see any way they can totally leave out Fedor and the others they did not get (yet) and still call the show "Best of."
I've been saying for a long time:
I am so surprised that the ufc is doing this.
this is only going to show how much pride kicked *** and show just how much better it was than the ufc. period.

Not sure how you draw that conclusion from this, but we don't need to go into that argument.
All I see is UFC trying to cash in on the investment by selling a new TV show to Spike, getting some money out of the archives they purchased. Wisely.

I am very excited about this. They will probably be showing the Fedor fights to promote the UFC guys, showing Minotauro and Cro Cop back in the day.

The problem is they both lost. It'll be like 'Oh, these guys looked good back then, but Fedor is clearly better than all of them.' I want to see Fedor. *Turns to CBS*
The only clip of Fedor on the promo is when he was dropped on his head. I expect they may show him fight guys who aren't in the UFC but will not show him beating down Big Nog, Cro Cop, Herring or Coleman.
I expect to see the Randelman fight only actually if they show anything I did see the part in the Ad where he got dropped on his head freakin vicious man but probly want even see that they may show linland fight as well

oh we already got into it BUDDY!!
i said that cuz i believe there are large number of casual mma fans who just watch UFC. and i know ppl that has never even heard of PRIDE. once they start watching PRIDE, they will see that PRIDE had much better production, entertainment, fighters, and etc. than the UFC. after that, they will see that UFC's version of MMA is not the best MMA there is. they'll realize that there is more stuff out there thats not the UFC and can put on pretty damn good fights.
I figure they will show Fedor as a way to hype up Big Nog.
I don't think showing the best of PRIDE will make the casual fan realize that there is better MMA than the UFC. If any of the casual fans take a real liking to PRIDE, they will quickly discover it doesn't exist anymore. It may make people more critical of UFC's production,
if
they prefer PRIDE's production.
I'm sure the show will be edited with a UFC undertone. There may be a "UFC host" setting up the clips suggestively reminding the viewer that UFC is the only MMA promotion. This is great marketing for Zuffa, revenue and promotion.

Oh yes, this will definitely be another way to promote the UFC. I don't know how exactly yet but that is definitely the purpose
