(1-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), was forced off with a card with an injury, Kedzie (16-12 MMA, 0-1 UFC) now fights promotional newcomer and recent signee
Bethe Correia
(6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), officials today announced.
UFC Fight Night 33 takes place Dec. 6 at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland. The main card airs on FOX Sports 1. The prelims, including Kedzie vs. Correia, air on FOX Sports 2 and stream on MMAjunkie.com.
Kedzie, a 10-year vet and former HOOKnSHOOT grand prix winner, recently made her UFC debut following a stint with Strikeforce. The 32-year-old suffered a split-decision defeat to Germaine de Randamie at UFC on FOX 8, which marked her third consecutive loss.
The Team Jackson-Winkeljohn fighter looks to get back on track when she fights Correia, a Brazilian fighter who made her pro debut just 19 months ago. The 30-year-old, nicknamed “Pitbull,” has since wracked up six fights and six victories, five of which have come via decision.
