This is a hard one for me to decide, so I'd like some help.

I would say Bones because there was so much more at stake when he did it. By the time BJ started seriously messing up his career was long over.

The drunk driving Jones apparently does on a regular basis makes me mad. So many people get hit by drunk drivers every year, dying just because some idiot didn't give a s---. Especially since it's so easy to prevent it, to get in the car when you are drunk you need a certain lousy character, but Jones just don't give a s---, even after being arrested multiple times for it. Also that he was sleeping around and going to strip clubs with a bunch of kids at home is disgusting.

This contest is in the early phase - these 2 idiots are (still) young. The real questions are:
which one will be first to prison
which one will be first bankrupt
which one will do more time by the end of his life
I still go for John - he's the more natural one.

On February 7, 2020, Penn was involved in a single-car accident in his home town of
Hilo, Hawaii
. According to local media, Penn was allegedly speeding when he lost control of his pickup truck and his vehicle flipped in front of a Hilo shopping mall. Penn was the only occupant of the vehicle, and he was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. No word on his condition has been released yet. Penn is currently being investigated by the Hilo Police Department for
DUI
. His blood was drawn at the scene, but no charges have been filed

Devil's advocate here cos I'm going BJ.
Jones is young, dumb & full of c--. Whilst none of his actions are inexcusable it can be put down to a level of immaturity which may naturally change with age. Or not, but we're yet to find out.
At 41 years BJ is further along the road & not only should know better, but acting like this is much less immature then it is as a reflection of the person he has now become. To me BJ has identity problems. Who is he if he ain't a UFC fighter & it's clear he's struggling to have any real purpose in life. This sort of downward spiral often ends up locking oneself into a room with nothing but a Peter Andre greatest hits CD & a packet of razor blades. He'd be a shoe in for my 2020 deadpool list for sure.

Jon Jones is almost 33 year old lol. I stopped doing immature s--- when I was 22. He won’t change cuz he’s immature, cheap and dumb. Bj has some serious mental issues. Jon hasent or shouldn’t. He’s the king, multimillionaire, married with kids. f---ing excuses.

And BJ is also currently or has been all the things you mention of Jon. You deciding to start wearing a pair of slippers & smoke a pipe at the age of 22 isn't really a reflection on how Jon or anyone should be behaving. 33 years compared to 41 is a significant difference when it comes to the general stages of life.

Jones hands down. He won the belt 9 years ago and instead it's just another "Jones Arrested again".
BJ ruined his legacy, all the OG MMA fans remember him licking blood off his glove at the top of the cage. The man couldn't let go.

Bj was good as gold in his prime and a little after, before he got a midlife crisis, turned into a coke head and like I said, got some serious mental health issues. The gap in age means f--- all if you’re not right in the head. Jon was f---ing up in his prime and after and at almost 33, he really should be maturing by now, don’t you think?

Sure at 33 Jon should be maturing, no doubt about it. And yet here we have BJ in his 40's getting into street brawls & DUI's. Pinning these reasons on his mental health is a cop out, for any mental health issues he has is a direct result of the decisions, or f--- ups, he's made as an adult. A good indication of how much someone has f---ed up their life is to see the potential of what's remaining. For example Tyson - f---ed up much of his life but is his life now a complete f--- up? Not by any means, what with his successful businesses ventures etc. War Machine - like Tyson he f---ed up much of his life but is his life a complete f--- up? You betcha, for obvious reasons.
For all his faults, crimes etc Jones still has so much going for him. BJ not so much & the options of where he goes from here isn't as obvious as what Jones can do, which is why I opted for BJ.

You’re missing my point. Bj didn’t get in trouble with the law once in his teens, 20s or 30s. He never got in trouble at the height of his game. Jones supposed to be the GOAT, when you take steroids out of the equation. He really has no reason to do what he does. Tyson and War Machine had the worst upbringing imaginable. Jones had a great upbringing, world in his hands, a great family and still f---ing up to this day. Not a kop out at all. You would have to be a damn fool if you can’t see that Bjs not dialled right in the f---ing head anymore. Clean as a whistle until now. Sure, he could change, but honestly, I can so see Bj getting sectioned or jailed. Jon won’t get sectioned cuz he’s not mental, will inevitably get a slap on the wrist and he’ll thank God and promise it won’t happen again and whammo, it will happen again cuz he’s immature as f---! All the millionaire star needs is a taxi. Anyone can change, anyone can turn too and Bj f---ing turned. Jon has it all in his time and just keeps on making dumb mistakes and it’s laughable.
Good for you for opting for Bj. You’re the only one that thinks so, so far. Night. Stay safe.

isn't BJ known for hitting his gf/wife? say what you want about Jones, but that's one thing he doesn't do, batter women.
