BJ just posted a new video blog in which he says that Dana and him have been texting back and forth the last few days and that his next fight is looking like it will take place in November. No opponent just yet though.

My guess is that his fight will probably end up on the Mahicda vs. Rampage card as the Belfort vs. Okami card looks to have enough tentative fights on it already.

Who would he fight? There's hardly any LW fighters available right now. Unless of course it's Guida. Guida just twittered that he had a "Hard hitting" opponent on tap to fight soon. This could either be Gomi or Penn. Mark my words...
Penn will face Gomi or Guida.

I think Guida/Gomi is more likely. They are probably going to feed Penn some Jobber first to get him back to his winning ways.

Lining him up against Gomi or Guida would be a very nice co-main event. Wolf I like the way you think

When I saw this tweet the other day, Penn was the person that first came to mind.

But would you really say that Penn has "A LOT" of power in his hands? He only has 6 KO/TKO victories compared to Gomi's 12. I think Guida is going to get Gomi and Penn is going to get someone like a Guillard or a Griffin.

I'd like to see Penn fight Nate Diaz. That would be a reasonable step back in competetion for Penn and for Nate, if he did manage to beat Penn that could set up a fight with Maynard, who he called out.

I think that for a LW, Penn has a lot of power. Definitely not the most vicious striker in the division though.

Ya penn has laid out quite a few people. He has a ton of power for a LW. I think guys like Stephens and Guillard have more power, along with Gomi...but Penn is right up there. He certainly has "A LOT" of power compared to Guida lol.

Hrm, this is odd. Who would he fight? Sotiropolous is fighting Lauzon in 123 so neither will be available as contenders. Nate... I guess, although I'm not particularly enthused about watching Nate get schooled. Personally I think it's too early for Penn to be getting back in the ring. He should be concentrating on putting a better camp together.
