Odds wise, its gotta be really close. Probably next to GSP/Serra. I always like to try to think of big upsets and how they would occur. I just didnt see any way for Edgar to win this fight.
There are lots of big upset like Forrest/Shogun and Liddell/Jardine. But with fights like those, theres always a punchers chance, or a chance to grind out a decision. I just didnt see this happening with Penn/Edgar

Really?? I still havent seen the fight yet. Im not looking for excuses for his loss or anything.
I say it's up there for sure! I was totally SHOCKED to be honest. But I still have to say GSP Serra was the worst, then this one. The odds were a little higher in that fight for GSP, and on top of that - it was a TKO or stoppage in the very first rnd, vice a decision. This is a close second though, and I would NEVER have put money on Edgar. Like many people have said though, it just goes to show you that it is MMA in the end, and you really never do know what's gonna happen in a fight!

Not sure what was up with his leg, but Penn hasn't sat between rounds for his past few fights. I think he's been trying to show all the doubters since the questions about his cardio came up.

Well GSP got caught in the Serra fight, Penn on the other hand was outclassed by Edgar.

Im guessing you been watching mma for a while. So why would you make the dumb mistake of going to an mma forum after an event happened. You should know this already.

Seriously? Stay off of MMA forums in the hours following an event if you don't want to risk finding out what happened in the event.
