Dude wants to set up matches that he knows he can win. That's called "manufacturing a record" and that should not be tolerated in this sport. MMA needs to step up and stop this kind of garbage or else it will suffer the same fate as boxing.

Last thing I heard he said he either wanted a title shot or he wanted to build up. At this point, I would venture to say he gets destroyed by Shane. So there is might be a bit of truth to what you say, but I am not terribly surprised if he indeed did turn this fight down.

How do you think Del Rosario would destroy Lashley? IMO, I think they are pretty even in terms of where they both are at in their careers. Del Rosario has the striking advantage, Lashley has the obvious wrestling advantage, and I think they are both decent with submissions.
Who knows if he ducked him or not though. The only way to know for sure is if someone from Bobby's camp comes out and says so.

Okay, maybe I was exaggerating with the destruction bit. However, Del Rosario is a solid up and comer, and Lashley has had, complete walks in the park. He has potential, I will not deny that. But again, he either wants to work his way up, the ladder or go straight to a title match. Shane is not going to be a walk in the park for Bobby, and it will be a significant challenge for Lashley, but that is not what he is looking for right now IMO.
