Mr Waterman was a wrestling coach at a school near mine in high school. Can you say 'roids. I see him around alot looks like HScott Stiener drives a od school Hummer and its small on him. Was a major disapointment to alot of us locals. Thought he was gonna be the next Hulk Hogan or Chuck Liddell. Why is Lashley wasting time on bums like Bob Sapp and Mike Cook when he clearly has the talent (aka power) to fight the top guys? Lashley need to step up and fight either in UFC or Strikeforce.

Lashley is a humble guy and doesnt' believe he is ready for the level of comp that SF and UFC offer so he wants to train and learn and get better and face better comp as he gets better he has good wrestling but the rest of his game needs major improvment

I have seen Waterman fight before, Lashley wont be able to use his wrestling on him. Waterman is a good wrestler. I can see Waterman winning a via decision .

Of all the new crop of heavyweights, I think Lashley has the most potential. He respects the sport enough to want to build up his skill base and I think we'll see him move up in competition next year for certain. My hope is that he's working with some good striking coaches - preferably boxing, as it might be a quicker thing for him to pick up.
