I actually think there will be probs for Jones making weight when he gets older, plus his explosiveness will wane. He relies on explosiveness instead of slow controlling strength. What makes him a force ATM is his athleticism, his wildness stems from that. His current style wont work very well if his body doesn't stay in the same condition. He's too small to go heavyweight. So he's caught in a catch-22.

It would suit him later on. But, the problem is there arent enough fighters at 225 to really fill out the roster.
I don't know that Jones is too small for HW. Assuming he's 215-220 now, and we're talking about him outgrowing LHW, that means he'd be in the 225-230 range to begin with. Adding 10-15 pounds of lean muscle from there would put him in Cain Velasquez's range, which seems to be suiting him just fine. He will still have a large reach advantage over most HW.

interesting fight... but I think a fighter as bones, will have to tools to beat Rampage, rampage is only focus in boxing in the cage now, he doesnt even check leg kicks... and jardine almost beat him... that was a horrible fight for page....

Thats not the problem at all, there will be plenty as heavyweights will start dropping down. It would cause the real problems in the heavyweight division.
Rampage by murder. If Bones didnt wanna stand with Vera he certainly wont want to against Rampage, and Im confident that Rampage's TDD will prevent Jones from securing TDs
