This is typical UFC bull! One of their fighters no shows a freakin' press conference (do any fans actually watch those things....I've never seen one!) of all things so they punish the fans from seeing a marquee matchup to prove a petty point. Boo to you UFC!
I'm feeling gipped out of watching two of my favorite fighters in a dream match so that Dana gets to prove a point. Good for you Dana, but I think I'll just hang on to my $60 this time around.
Even my friends who are casual fans and would have watched GSP vs. Diaz are now taking a pass on this PPV. Good job UFC, yet another situation you have managed to mishandle. I guess it's ok to disenfranchise fans as long as it proves some behing the scenes personal point to a fighter.
Thanks for almost putting together a great show.

I understand how some may be willing to compromise.
However, I was looking forward to the Champion vs. Champion angle.....that can't be replaced (yes, I know Diaz vacated the belt....really of minor consequence....he's never been beaten).
Now it's just GSP steamrolling over Condit and Penn losing by TKO. This PPV went from a must watch to just another passe PPV moneygrab by UFC.

You could pretend that Diaz got injured, Condit filled in and then Diaz healed up in time to fill in for the vacant co-main event.
P.s... there's still plenty of time for the whole main card to change again.
But there are a ton of Diaz and 137 threads. So that's the reason for the lock.
