I know, i know but its gonna come up so whats your thoughts? He had a great season and was 4 fumbles and 1 Interception away from his 3rd Super Bowl. I think he comes back and why not? Hes got a great RB and a great O-line(who didnt show up this game).

As long as he has a line, he might as well.

I'd like to see him come back, but I don't think he will. This was his best shot and they still came up short.

I think that game was all he could take. He got beat up pretty bad by the Saints there and he is too old to be doing that every week now. I hope he will realize that and retire for good, but nobody can ever tell what he is going to do

My money says one more year...it will be hard to walk away after having such an unbelievably productive year. Plus he made something like $12 mil this year, I'm sure he could get the same or more next year. I suppose it depends how beat up he is, if he spends the next month or two barely able to move after the season, he may think it is not worth it.
But that is one good team with him on it, to have five turnovers against a team like the Saints and still only lose because you lost the coin flip in overtime (BTW NFL overtime rules suck), that's a lot of incentive to come back.

It should be mentioned Favre signed a 2 yr $24 million deal when he signed with the Vikings, but according to Adam Schefter (via Twitter) Favre told Ed Werder that the chances of him playing again were "highly unlikely"

What Favre says on the subject is irrelevant to the conversation.

Favre has proved 1 thing year after year. He doesnt need training camp to be ready. He can still play at a high level. I would like to see him come back and I believe he will. Their is no way he is gonna leave on an interception. Boy how bad was A Peterson yesterday.

I hope he comes back but dont think he will. Dude looked in pain when the game started. Then preceded to take a beating from both legal hits and cheap shots. And how the hell was the guy taking out his leg not a penalty it looked pretty damn intentional to me. I mean you cant even brush by Tom Bradys leg without them throwing a flag and fining you a ton of money. But I came to the conclusion Brett is the baddest man on the planet while watching that game. Dude is a freakin machine. I dont think he will think the moneys worth it on thursday or friday when hes finally able to get up and move around the house. Either way one of the best to ever do it whether he comes back or not.
