I think Cain will just out speed Brock for the first round but wont hurt him and wont be able to take him down(if he even tries), he will have better cardio too but I can see a similar result to tonight except a Lesnar take down leading to a TKO this time maybe a bit later in the fight.

Why does Cain get to face Brock next?
Cain has not fought the type of fighters as Dos santos has.the two best Cain has fought were rothwell and big nog.
Dos Santos has fought gonzaga,mirko,werdum and yvel.

Dana wants to put someone up against brock that will gas.Dana wants to put brock up against someone that is not number one contender.
i don't believe shane was the number one contender.Shane beat up 1 1/2(mir is like a cold,comes and goes) top level fighters.Dana knew he would gas if he didn't finish in the first round and he was right.
ALSO
that fight should have been stopped in the 1st. how many times have we seen in the UFC a fight stopped when the fighter is in the turtle position? always he was not defending himself.

Cause LEsnar was defending himself well with his tree trunks coming from his shoulders and shane slowed down alot because he gassed out

I just think Cain is really fackin strong for his size compared to anyone else. Hes really fast.
I just have that image in my head of Cain lifitng Brock up and slaming him and just punching him.
i guess i dont hold lesnars wrestling that high up as his ceredntials in it

Cain is another great wrestler with great stand up. Cain has to stay outside and pick Lesnar apart, use his cardio to stretch the fight and slow Lesnar down. Cain can't go crazy with his stand up, he has to be patient, change levels and move around.
For Cain to win, it will not be an overly exciting fight, he can't let his wrestler ego take over. We all know what Lesnar can and wants to do.

gonna be hard for cain cause lesnar has about a 4 inch reach advantage on him

I'm a huge Cain fan, but I don't think Cain will outwrestle Brock. Brock is an absolute beast on the ground. Carwin didn't know what to do with Brock on top.
Cain best chance of winning is to outstrike him and take out his legs. Cain has some good kicks and needs to take away Brocks legs early and see what happens. Hopefully Cain is watching the Forrest/Rampage and Aldo/Faber fights as a blueprint.
If Brock takes it down its over.

I am among one of the biggest Cain fans around. I just love superior wrestling. I have been stating on this board for the last week that after reviewing all of Lesnar's past fights that I felt he would come out the victor. BUT, Cain has little to no chance fighting Brock. Brock will reign for a long time unless he fights the likes of JDS, Fedor, Overeem, etc.
Believe it or not, I think this was Brock's toughest test tonight. No question about it.

Stick and move. Do not stay in the pocket and trade or be open for a take down. That last BJ Penn fight, in and out, hit and run, not to exciting, but it worked with the judges. Not what I want to see, just evaluating what ways Cain can win.

Lesnar is a better wrestler than Velasquez and he is stronger and much bigger. Cain won't be able to take Brock down like he did Congo,Rothwell,etc. and he won't be able to plant his feet and throw hands like he did against Nog. So he has to try like a flying armbar or a flying forearm like Tito Santana used back in the day :lol: . Not saying he has no chance but I'm just saying he has close to no chance. I do really like Velasquez though if it weren't for Lesnar he would probably be the champ.
