Were Palhares' kicks against Henderson Capoira-inspired? If so, they didn't seem all that effective, but not totally useless.

my GF was taking capoeira for a while(it was a big thing with manhatten girls) and she was all excited cause we were both taking martial arts. i said that it was cool that she was doing something to keep in shape and she got pissed that i wasnt respecting her art. her teacher (who im sure that just wanted to f*ck her) said that he would eff me up in a fight. of course i dont take this seriously then a couple of weeks later she said that he was still waiting for me. so i went over one night. he left early. havent heard any thing about it since. i dont even think she told him that i trained in bjj and kickboxing. so it goes.
