The most sensible match up in my mind is easily Fitch vs Condit. I mean Shields and Kammpman are going at it and if Shields wins then he should get GSP/Kos, but if Kampmann wins, then maybe give him Thiago Alves.. But as of right now, I think Fitch vs Condit makes sense. Fitch is waiting on the sidelines and apparently thought he was next in line for a shot even though he's been putting on boring performance after boring performance.
Condit has been one of my favorite fighters since he was in the WEC and I would love for him to take out Fitch!!

Whad he say earlier? I didn't hear... something about Fitch Lay and praying on Condit and taking Condit out of the picture? That is possible.
I think Condit will run through Fitch. Condit was really impressive today. Condit looks like an extremely smart fighter now on his feet, rather then rushing his opponent like he used to. If Fitch can't take em down, Fitch is gonna get beat.

Condit's TDD isn't good enough to stop Fitch's TD's. Knocking out a stand-up fighter in Hardy is no indication Condit can do the same to such a great wrestler.
It would just be a waste, Fitch would shut Condit down in yet another snoozer, and for what? Dana still wouldn't give Fitch the GSP rematch! :lol:

100% agreed. Despite Condit looking great striking, also against McDonald, Fitch is just an insanely dominant wrestler. Barring GSP I would find it hard to bet on anyone else in the division over Fitch

i think is a good match, Condit has improve alot and Jon Fitch doesnt deserve a title shot until he prove he is a diferent figther from his first title shot with GSP
altough if Kosh for some upsted wins i think Jon Fitch should be in line for the next title shot but if everything happens according to the logic GSP will win and Shields will win against Martin so my next matches in the WW contention has to be like this
GSP vs Shields
Jon Fitch vs Carlos Condit
Martin VS Chris Lytle or someone that is getting up in the rankings on the WW division

I voted Condit, but I think thats just wishful thinking combined with me not like Jon Fitch at all and loving the Natural Born Killer. If I were to bet on any fight with Jon Fitch in it, I'd bet a lot of money on Jon Fitch winning (unless the fight was against GSP). It sucks but I think a lot of people know its true. Fitch just f---ing wins fights. Unimpressivly? f--- yeah they're unimpressive. But the dude just beats people and theres no way around it...

I think this is the best match up for Condit after beating Hardy, with that said I still see Fitch beating him. It's crazy when you think about it, it's almost 2011 and Fitch is still the # 2 welterweight in the world since 08, only loss is to GSP.

Condit's TDD may not be good enough, but he has pretty decent BJJ and he's tenacious enough to cause problems for Fitch, I think. I don't know what Alves was doing against Fitch last time, but he made Fitch look better than he is. Besides, Fitch has to lose to someone other than GSP sometime... why not Condit? (oh please oh please oh please)
The problem is that you have let Fitch fight *someone*... Personally, I'd much rather they give Fitch an emergency title fight on the Fight for the Troops card in January, just to get him out the way
That way you can make some wicked fight combos between Kampmann (assuming he loses to Shields), Condit, Lytle, Alves, and maybe Akiyama if he drops down...

I like this fight. Fitch wins easily, but it would be a good reality check for Condit and a way for him to test his skills. Condit vs Fitch and Condit vs. GSP happens about the same way.

Sums it up well
I like Fitch, I like watching what he does to people, thats just my opinion though. He is better at MMA than all but maybe 2 WWs in the world atm.

I think Fitch is capable of dishing out a beatdown. That being said, I don't think it happens in one of his next three fights.

It never happened in any of his previous 14 UFC fights I so I see no reason to think he would start laying the smackdown now.
