Personly i feel like this guy is underated. Since the WEC merged all the champs are getting title shots. Why not Condit? He has 1 loss in the past 3/4 years which was in the Ufc . btw he should have won that fight. Anyways i've always said he's in the top 5 ww in the world. maybe because im a huge fan but he's still a mAajor threat to anyone in the Ww divsion. My question is how many more wins does he need to get his next shot and then make his run with the title. When i line all the ww's up besides Gsp,Shields,Fitch,Penn and one or two more theres really no one else that i think would give hime trouble and even these few i think he has a great shot at beating. ANy ways will he ever be the #1 contender or CHAMP!?

I"m a big fan of Condit as well. I would say that if/when he gets through Lytle, maybe he'll need one more fight to get a title shot. As to why he didn't/isn't getting a shot as quick as the lighter weight champs, I think it's because there wasn't as much hype behind him when the LHW and WW merged in a while back.

If he had taken the Fitch fight when it was offered, and defeated him, he probably would have gotten a title shot.

GSP & Condit train at Jacksons. Jacksons fighters don't fight each other.

Champions don't choose who they fight. You defend the title or you get stripped of said title. End of story.
