Castaway MMA v2.0

Still a chance of limited to no vision, as long as things don't turn south.
Good luck my man! When I had my right Retina tear and detachment I couldn't see for a month after the operation. I was so scared. My vision was whack before I had another operation to install a intraocular lens.

They thought I would gain back a 100% vision but because the tear was so massive, I gained back about 85%. Better than blind of course.

I'm scared as fuck. Fuck, take a pinky toe or something, I need my eyes.

Normal to be scared in that situation. Who wouldn't be?

I really hope your eye will be back to normal. But even if you lose some % of your vision, you can wear glasses. Anyway, you'll probably have to say goodbye to contact lenses.

I'm thinking about you my friend. Don't hesitate to call me if you want to talk. Seriously!

I'm one of those idiots who sleep in their contacts for too many days. Feels like sandpaper on my eyeball. There's been alot of staying in the dark with my eyes closed this week.
Ouch! Mine are ones you can sleep in but I ended up with an ulcer a couple of years ago through not taking them out

I fucking hate contacts. I was able to wear them when I was a teenager. But I did get an infection one time because while trying to remove one, I pushed it behind the eye. I still don't know how I managed that. I had to go to the optometrist and he used a pair of metal pliers to get it out (it was during the 80s). That wasn't a fun afternoon.

Many years later I tried contacts again but I had the feeling that they were burning my eyes so I gave up.

Got Lasik in 2010 and it was a miracle until I got the 2 retina tears (both eyes) within 6 months and the retina detachment in the right one about 3 years ago.

It's been a shitty week, I'm currently battling a severe corneal ulcer infection. 4th day in a row of seeing a specialist. Currently zero vision out of my right eye, once healed will be the determining factor if I have to go for a corneal transplant. Constant pain, here's an up to date shot, swelling is going down.

I've never attempted contacts. I just can't imagine putting them in. I know it's a mind thing and I would get used to it but fuck that!
