Castaway MMA v2.0

I'm down 10 lbs in 3 weeks. 10 more lbs to go before the start of duck season. I need to shed weight so I can get in and out of the boat in chest waders without too much trouble. Feeling good right now, but pushups daily and fasting is how it happens. Duck hunting is not for people who are out-of-shape. Not if you want to be successful at it.

Moorhen season started on 9/1. This Saturday, I'm doing a solo canoe trip in the backwaters of Lake Okeechobee. A spot that I scouted out last week. Taking my 410 shotgun, and a bunch of 7.5 shot. Lead shot is legal for gallinule (moorhens) before the start of duck season. Also taking my ultralight fishing rod, some beetle spins, and a container of red worms. If I can't find the gallinules, I'll try to catch some fish.

Not been drinking too much lately. For a while all I did was drink weed drinks and getting stoned. I haven't even done that much lately. When duck season approaches, I feel the need to get my act in order and start doing right. I did get on a bender a few weeks ago, and spouted off here with some nonsense. I'm sorry about that, if I offended anyone. I did have a few wines tonight, but I still have to work tomorrow, then load up my canoe and gear tomorrow afternoon for Saturday's adventure.

I hope everyone is doing well. Loughe is my boy. Hey Joben... watch the Jersey Knife Guy on YouTube, I love that guy. Tito and Nubbs live in Arkansas, the duck capital of the world, and they don't even duck hunt. Invite me. Shout out to Cousin Vinnie from Pelican Bone Outdoors--I love that guy from South Louisiana. Hope everything is good for the tundra folk like Eranys in Alaska. Hope the UK folk are holding on and not milking too many goats. Peace be to the California surfers, and ABB and that guy from the reservation, whatever his name may be at the moment. Midwest people are good too--Peanut gallery and aggressive concrete man.

With Love, ducks.

I'm going to try and drop 8-10 over the next two months, before 10/30 shoulder surgery has me on the sidelines for weeks. I'm even half-ass training to maybe try a 5K a week or two before my surgery (I'm in shape, but I'm no regular runner (it's boring AF), so I'd have a little work to do in order to get up to a 3.2 mile face-paced race).

Being an ideal weight for surgery is always a bonus, good luck

Lost 14 lbs in the last 2 weeks, since my return from Florida. Apparently, Adderall and Ozempic (generic form) taken together is good for that.

Yay for me I guess!
